Louis V. Kosnett is an Associate at Kosnett Law Firm and has been working in the legal industry, as a law clerk and paralegal, since 2007. After graduating from Southwestern Law School and successfully passing the California Bar Examination on his first attempt, Louis immediately commenced practicing administrative and criminal law with his father, James Victor Kosnett, at Kosnett Law Firm, where he had been working as a Legal Clerk and Paralegal since the firm’s inception, working days while attending Law School at night.
Louis’ practice is devoted primarily to criminal law. He has drafted motions, negotiated, and appeared in court to defend a variety of criminal charges. Prior to joining Kosnett Law Firm, Louis gained a significant amount of legal experience working as a Clerk for the Law Offices of Kosnett &Durchfort, and a paralegal at Kosnett Law Firm, jobs he had all through law school. He was also selected to extern for the office of the Los Angeles District Attorney, where he was able to conduct preliminary hearings and assist the prosecution in trials.
Louis received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in History from UC Davis. Louis later attended Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles where he earned the Dean’s Merit Award, CALI, and Witkin Awards for academic excellence. He was one of a select few to graduate with his name on the Dean’s List.
